Methodological Attitudes to Study Ethnic Stereotypes and Method of Complex Reconstructions

The methodological principles in studuing stereotype as interdisciplinary phenomenon are systematized in the article. The necessity to develop a new cognitive approach to disclosethe lingual and semiotic origin of ethno-cultural stereotypes is justified. It is proved that the procedure of semantic-cognitive and motivational reconstruction of ethno-cultural stereotypes
should be applied comprehensively.
