The article is dedicated to the semantic analysis of the color names of the secondary nomination in the German language, namely, to the color-denoting adjectives, which due to their nature are derivative, and the color denotation of which is the secondary in relation to the central meaning. The author gives the classification of the specified color names, compiled as a subject list, the names of which are used in the color denotation such as: the inanimate nature (the sky, water, soil, except metals and precious stones); flora (the names of the plant kingdom subjects except flowers); flowers, fauna, fruits, berries, vegetables; food products; metals and precious stones; artefacts (products of human activities); proper names.Downloads
