Classification of Collocations of Ukrainian Law Discourse: Preliminary Results

The article deals with the classification of two-word fixed phrases based on the Subcorpus of Ukrainian Law Acts. Binary topology of the approaches to the description of collocations is suggested. The main mistakes of the automatic recognition and morphological-syntactical classification of two-word fixed phrases in Ukrainian texts are defined. The functional characteristics and descriptive models of lexical, grammatical and predicative collocations in the Ukrainian Law Acts are determined. The use of text-oriented approach allowed revelation of the grammatical and predicative collocations missed in the classifications.Downloads
