Abstract

This proposed review is about the before-linguistic interpretation of the concepts of assertion and negation as basic characteristics of the modus of existence, one the principal philosophical concepts. The concept of negation is viewed together with the concept of assertion. Researches notice that nonexistence is not an empty space because in the negation there is its counter-term – assertion. The ontological nature of negation contains in this specialty. Negation and assertion are present in a common conceptual field. These are two intercomplementary concepts. The logical approach views negation as hypothetical existence in the sphere of mental activity.
