Interrelation of “Lexical Nest” / “Word-Formative Nest”, “Genetic Nest” and “Etymological Nest” Concepts in Etymological Lexicography

In the article the verges of synchronic and diachronic aspects have been defined in terms of the linguistic reconstruction of Proto-language forms (states). The definitions of “lexical nest” / “word-formative nest”, “genetic nest” and “etymological nest” have been described in the etymological lexicography. The basic features of lexical nest / formative nest have been defined. The classification of genetic nests has been offered based on chronological depth study of a particular Proto-form. The etymological nest with the top *māter- has been modelled.Downloads
