The article focuses on the linguo-cultural specificity of the concept СRIME / ЗЛОЧИН in the paremiological corpus of English and Ukrainian languages. The comparative analysis of paremiological representation of the concept CRIME / ЗЛОЧИН in English and Ukrainian languages has been conducted. Universal and ethnospecific conceptions of Anglo-Saxon and Ukrainian ethnoses of the phenomenon of crime have been revealed. The influence of folklore on the development of legal thinking of Britons and Ukrainians has been described.Downloads
